Day 5 HCD Diet / Weigh In & Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Pix

I was sooo excited this morning!! I dropped over a lb and a half since yesterday. Today I'm at 159.4!!! Woo hoo!! Let's see, that's 1.6 lbs difference! Yaaayyy! I've lost over 2 1/2 lbs so far in the last 3 days! Awesome! I love love it! So today was a pretty good day, I've had no cravings, even though my hubby left a chocolate bar opened on the kitchen counter over night and it was just staring at me in the face this morning while I was fixing my 1 melba toast and black coffee for breakfast.. so I just threw a towel on it! LOL My meals today were pretty fantastic! For lunch, I had grilled steak and baked onion rings (not the kind you think) These are a very VERY basic type, but quite delicious because of all the spicy spices I put on them. For dessert, I had strawberries w/stevia sugar sprinkled all over them, yummm!! So, for dinner I had grilled garlic and herb chicken which was super tender and soo delicious! I followed the garlic chicken recipe on my hcg website's recipe list and it was great! Alongside, I had sliced tomatoes w/a sprinkle of salt and basil on top. For dessert, I had half or more like a quarter of, thanks to Evie's appetite, a grapefruit. And here are the pix to prove it!

  1. Do you use a food scale to measure out size and portions?

  2. hi Ali, yes, i use a food scale and pre-mesure my proteins, each serving of protein has to be 100 g, or like 3oz of either certain white fish, veal, chicken and on occasion steak. For fruits and veggies, I'm allowed 1 veggie w/my meal, which has to be like a handful, and 1 fruit, handful as well.
