Day 7 HCG Diet / Weigh In

So, today would technically be my 5th day of the low cal diet (since the first two days were my load days). Today's weigh in is @ 156.8!!! WOOO HOOO!! I did it! I'm past the 5lb mark! In 5 days I've lost a total of 5.2 lbs!!! I'm sooo excited and this is really keeping me motivated and also keeping me from eating that coconut cake last night for Crina's little birthday dinner I hosted. Oh man, the food I made.. ahhh.. So, the menu was a Thanksgiving meal, literally! I made a delish roast braised in a Zinfandel wine sauce, green bean casserole, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes w/brown sugar walnut glaze, raspberry jello with cranberries, and for dessert we had a coconut sweet cake. So, yeah.. I was able to refrain from ALL of it.. and truthfully, it didn't bother me too much.. xcpt for the green bean casserole, I just wanted that so bad.. but didn't give in, thank you 1.2 lbs reward! You were sweetly deserved! Hehehe, so, for lunch yest. I had a so yummy meal I made from one of the recipes from the website. It was a breaded chicken w/greens. (greens being lettuce) and I also followed the vinaigrette on there which was so tasty! I totally should have made that vinaigrette last time I had salad instead of just plain apple cider vinegar which was too tart and unappealing. Oh, and the breaded part of my chicken, I put in 1 melba toast in the food processor and turned it into powder form and that's how i made the bread part. It wasn't too much but it got most of the chicken. I also put an assortment of poultry spices on it like, tyme, pepper, sage, onion salt, garlic powder and sea salt which made it yummy. I first blended the seasoning/herbs in a bowl and added like 2 T of water and microwaved it until it became thick like a rub. Then I soaked the chicken into the rub and put them in the melba toast powder until coated, but u have to do it one at a time, as there is very little powder, i dunno if u know how small 1 melba toast is, u can check my pic out its the one w/my morning coffee and the melba toast. Yeah, that's how small. That's the only form of starch we're allowed to eat, well u can have 2 per day but i choose only one because they say if u can skip it, do it. Anyway, about the chicken, now we're allowed only like 100g or in oz it's like 3oz, yeah, very tiny. But a secret I do is.. I pound my meats w/a meat tenderizer and it makes them look bigger, skinnier but bigger and looks like ur eating more, very affective I must say! Now, for dessert, I had a cinnamon and Stevia sugar baked apple. (or more like microwaved, not baked). SO SO SO good, especially for cinnamon addicts like me. I've always had this dessert, my mom first introduced me to it but put tons of regular white sugar on it.. that's the fattening part. With the stevia sugar, there's 0 of everything, no carbs, artificial sweeteners or fat! Zero, Zip! It even has a little fiber in it to help u w/u know what! hehe Which is good, because on this diet I've noticed that BMs don't come too often.. but that's a no-brainer because there's hardly any food being eaten! Oh, I totally forgot to mention how I made my coffee yest. morning! I had a cappuccino, a full on cappuccino! We're allowed 1T of milk per day (otherwise, no dairy) and I put it in my mug and then in the microwave for 25 seconds so it was hot. Then I used my little battery operated frother and frothed it until it was semi stiff. I then added 8 drops of my Stevia Vanilla Creme drops and 1 packet of Stevia powder and mixed, then added my coffee to it. OMG.. it was so good and it actually felt like I was eating sweet frosting! I almost felt guilty drinking! LOL  Anyway, so for dinner, I had the veal taco roll ups w/1/2 sliced apples again, and i also used the vinaigrette i made earlier as a dipping sauce 4 the roll ups. Very tasty! OK, so that was my day! Thanks for reading! Oh, and I'll post pics up of my meals soon.
